What Is Zalgo Text?
Zalgo text (also known as "glitch text" or "cursed text") is created by stacking Unicode combining diacritical marks on top of, below, and through normal characters. These combining characters were originally designed for languages that use accents and diacritics, but when many are applied to a single character the result is a chaotic, glitchy appearance that seems to "corrupt" the text. The name comes from a creepypasta meme character called Zalgo.
